Surfing in the Landes

Whether you are a beginner or more experienced, would you like to take advantage of your stay at the campsite in the Landes to surf? Although Hossegor, Seignosse and Capbreton have established themselves as the surfing essentials in the Landes, the Côte d'Argent actually has a multitude of surfing spots that will suit all levels.

Hossegor, Seignosse and Capbreton

Hossegor is a world-famous surfing village par excellence and every year it hosts the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro, important stages of the World Surfing Championship. Even if it is possible to start surfing in Hossegor, the resort is more for an intermediate to very experienced public. However, this does not prevent you from watching the professional surfers in action.
Seignosse, Hossegor's neighbour, will prove to be like Capbreton, more suitable for all levels.

The spots in Hossegor

  • The gravel pit, known as having the best beach break in Europe (professional level)
  • The North (professional level)
  • Bare-bottoms (intermediate level)

Spots in Seignosse

  • La Bourdaines
  • Les Estagnots
  • The Barracks
  • Le Penon

  • The North Beach
  • Arnaoutchot
  • The South beach
