Discover the splendours of the Landes! Our Eurosol star-rated campsite in Vielle-Saint-Girons, with its ideal location close to the ocean, offers you plenty to discover during your stay in Aquitaine!
You don’t have to go very far to enjoy the coast’s beautiful beaches. The wide white sandy beach of Saint-Girons-Plage is just 700 m from the campsite. Saint-Girons-Plage is also a pretty seaside resort with many shops and services. You can take a dip in the ocean, in safe, supervised swimming areas. Children can play with their feet in the sand, while adults enjoy a sunny break by the water.
If you love water sports, you won’t want to miss out on a surfing session – a must when you spend your holiday on the Atlantic coast! Just an hour’s drive away, Biscarrosse, with its 4 km of beach, is a surfing spot that regularly hosts prestigious competitions. 40 minutes further south, another spot awaits you in Hossegor, the surfing capital of the Landes region.
Close to our campsite, discover the Courant d’Huchet and the Réserve Naturelle du Courant d’Huchet, one of the region’s most beautiful natural treasures: a magnificent waterway between Lake Léon and the Atlantic Ocean with incredible flora and fauna.
In the heart of this verdant natural setting, you’ll find a thousand and one ways to get some fresh air: hiking, cycling along the region’s many cycle paths, including the famous Vélodyssée, or taking a watertrip on the river Leyre or one of the many Landes lakes: Lac de Léon, Lac de Cazaux-Sanguinet, Lac de Parentis-Biscarrosse…
