The aquatic area in September
Our indoor heated swimming pool remains open all season long, until the campsite closes. Whatever the weather, you’ll have an aquatic area where you can dive in at your own pace all day long. The two outdoor pools and the paddling pool are also accessible – for children and adults looking for a dip in the water.
Imagine a cool morning in early September: you start the day in the warmth of the heated pool, before the sun rises over the pine forest. You don’t improvise this kind of moment – you choose it.
The beach 700 meters away, the Atlantic Ocean at your doorstep
Just a ten-minute walk from your accommodation, and you’re on one of the largest beaches on the Landes coast, between Vielle-Saint-Girons and Saint-Girons Plage. In September, swimming is supervised in the afternoons, and surfing conditions are often remarkable – the autumn swells start to swell, much to the delight of wave-lovers.

Cycling, nature and the lake: La Lande at the top of its game
The campsite is ideally situated close to the Vélodyssée, one of France’s great cycling routes. In September, the trails are clear, and bike rides to Lac de Léon – some 20 minutes away – take place in a remarkable late-season light. Canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boating, pedal-boating: the lake itself offers a wide range ofactivities for the whole family.
The Landes forest can be explored on foot or by two-wheeler from the campsite. Dunes, shady paths, a horizon of pine trees as far as the eye can see: this is the authentic face of the Landes, far from postcard images.
