Are your kids fans of Jurassic Park and dinosaurs? Take them to Dinosaurs Parc! Created in 2016 on the shores of Lac d’Azur in the Landes region of France, 30 km from the EUROSOL campsite, this theme park invites you to experience an original family adventure, with over 25 attractions and 3 worlds to discover: dinosaurs, dragons and the playground.

The dinosaur trail

The Landes forest is the ideal backdrop for a journey back in time to the Jurassic era, when dinosaurs ruled the earth. Under the pines, between the ferns, a dozen of these ancient reptiles have found refuge in the park, some of them coming to life as you pass.

The top 5 most famous dinosaurs include T-Rex, Triceratops and Velociraptor, of course, but also Ankylosaurus and Brachiosaurus. In front of each giant lizard, an explanatory panel provides more information about the animal. Don’t miss: in a prehistoric stone hut, Ciné Dino shows a short, fascinating documentary on the dinosaurs that lived at the end of the Jurassic period, around 150 million years ago.

The Dragon Forest

If your kids love the adventures of Hiccup, Toothless and their Viking friends, then it’s a safe bet that the Dragon Forest will fill them with wonder. Imagine yourself in a magical forest in ancient times, where humans and dragons have been fighting a merciless battle for centuries…

Today, these enchanted monsters are back in the Landes. You can discover them at Dinosaures Parc. A trail takes you to meet these creatures with the body of a snake, the legs of a lizard, the claws of an eagle, the mouth of a crocodile or the wings of a bat.

Dino-themed games and rides

If you’re looking for something to do with the whole family, the Dinosaurs Parc has plenty to offer. The Landes leisure park offers a wide range of games, rides and attractions for all ages.

On site, children can enjoy a dozen inflatables, trampolines and rides such as the dino rodeo, caterpillar train and spinning cups. You can also play the role of paleontologist apprentice on a treasure hunt in the park. An archaeological digging workshop is available for children, with paintbrushes in hand, to find dinosaur bones.
