Holidays: help for retired people
Being retired does not necessarily mean having a large income. Under certain conditions, retired people can benefit from several forms of assistance, enabling them to finance all or part of their holidays.
The ANCV (Agence nationale pour les chèques-vacances) also has a service for older people with disabilities to help them plan their holidays. This is the "Seniors on holiday" scheme.
The "SNCF Seniors' Advantage" card entitles the holder to a 30% discount on a return journey on a TGV Inouï, TER or Intercités train during the blue period.
